Who is Athiya Sethi?

Athiya Shetty, born on November 5, 1992, in Mumbai, is an Indian actress and daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty. She pursued her education at the Cathedral and John Connon School and later at the American School of Bombay. Athiya further honed her acting skills at the New York Film Academy.

She made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with the film Hero, portraying Radha Mathur opposite Sooraj Pancholi. Her performance earned her nominations for Best Female Debut at several award ceremonies. Subsequently, she appeared in Mubarakan (2017) as Binkle Sandhu and in Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019) as Anita “Ani” Awasthi.

Beyond acting, Athiya is recognized for her fashion sense, having been a brand ambassador for Maybelline New York and gracing the covers of magazines like Vogue India and Harper’s Bazaar. In her personal life, she married Indian cricketer KL Rahul on January 23, 2023, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Evaarah, on March 24, 2025.
