Parineeti Chopra is a prominent Indian actress known for her work in Hindi cinema. Born on October 22, 1988, in Ambala, Haryana, she pursued a triple honors degree in Business, Finance, and Economics from Manchester Business School in the UK. Initially aspiring to become an investment banker, Parineeti entered the entertainment industry after returning to India and working in public relations at Yash Raj Films.

She made her acting debut in 2011 with the romantic comedy Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, earning critical acclaim and a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her breakthrough came with Ishaqzaade (2012), followed by successful films like Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), and The Girl on the Train (2021), showcasing her acting range. In 2021, she was praised for her performances in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Saina, a biopic of badminton star Saina Nehwal.
