Ankita Lokhande (born Tanuja Lokhande on 19 December 1984 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh) is a celebrated Indian actress who rose to prominence with her portrayal of Archana in the TV serial Pavitra Rishta from 2009 to 2014 .. Raised in a Marathi family—her father, Shashikant, was a banker, and her mother, Vandana, a teacher—she grew up with two brothers and a sister . A state-level badminton player in her youth, Ankita pursued acting seriously after graduating, moving to Mumbai in 2005 .

Her television debut came through the talent show India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, but her breakthrough was Pavitra Rishta. She earned widespread acclaim, winning multiple Gold Awards, an ITA Award, and Indian Telly Awards .

Transitioning to film in 2019, Ankita starred as Jhalkaribai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, followed by roles in Baaghi 3 (2020), The Last Coffee (2023), and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar (2024) . In 2023, she appeared on Bigg Boss 17 and finished as the third runner-up . Beyond her professional achievements, she married businessman Vicky Jain on 14 December 2021 .
