Who is Amy Jackson?

Amy Jackson is a British actress and model who predominantly works in Indian cinema. Born on January 31, 1992, in Douglas, Isle of Man, she began her career as a model and won the Miss Teen World title in 2009. Her striking looks and poise caught the attention of Indian filmmakers, leading to her acting debut in the 2010 Tamil period-drama “Madrasapattinam”, where she starred opposite Arya. Her performance was praised, marking a successful entry into the South Indian film industry.

Amy went on to work in several Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films, including “Ekk Deewana Tha” (2012), “I” (2015), “Singh Is Bliing” (2015), and “2.0” (2018) opposite superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. Known for her glamorous roles and screen presence, she quickly became a popular figure in Indian cinema.

In addition to her film career, Amy is known for her advocacy in animal rights and women’s empowerment. She has also appeared in the American TV series “Supergirl” as the character Saturn Girl.

The festivities began with a sunset cruise along the coastline—visiting Ravello, Positano, Sorrento, and Capri—surrounded by approximately 200‑220 guests from the U.S., India, and Europe. On August 24, Amy and Ed exchanged vows at the castle terrace with sea and vineyard views, followed by an elegant reception featuring gourmet Italian cuisine, a five-tier cake, live flag‑bearer procession and more.

For her wedding look, Amy chose a custom gown by Alberta Ferretti (with a 15‑foot embroidered veil), and changed into a crystal‑covered Pronovias Atelier dress for the reception—an ensemble that reportedly took 105 hours to create.
