Who is Tripti Dimri?

Triptii Dimri is an Indian actress born on February 23, 1995, in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. She began her acting career with a role in the 2017 thriller “Mom” and gained attention for her lead performance as Laila in the romantic drama “Laila Majnu” (2018). Dimri received critical acclaim for her portrayal of the titular character in Anvita Dutt’s supernatural drama “Bulbbul” (2020), earning her the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actress. She collaborated again with Dutt in “Qala” (2022), further establishing her as a versatile performer. In 2021, Forbes Asia recognized her in their 30 Under 30 list. Dimri’s popularity surged with her supporting role as Zoya in the action film “Animal” (2023), which became a top-grossing movie and garnered her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has since starred in comedy films such as “Bad Newz” and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” (both 2024), showcasing her range across genres. ​
